Stubb and Haavisto proceeded predictably to the second round.

The presidential election has progressed to the second round, as none of the ten candidates got over half of the votes. The second round will be held between Alexander Stubb from kokoomus and the candidate of the association of voters, Pekka Haavisto, supported by the greens.
